Now once again take each end of the screen off of its frame and remove any screws holding on screens edges in place before grabbing what needs to be removed. Once you have it all out, find the replacement screen and secure it to its frame with screws.

Once you have done that grab some wire cutters or strong scissors and remove any excess material from the edges of the screen before applying a small amount of silicone sealant tape along them. This will prevent anything from coming into contact with your flyscreen as well as keep bugs at bay.

Now take an electrician’s insulation tape and wrap one layer around each screw head on either side if your new repair job just to ensure that no moisture gets in there because this is where most screens are broken when they get rusted over time due to humidity getting trapped underneath them for too long.

Finally, fasten both ends back onto their frames using screwdriver and something like a Phillips-head screwdriver.

The next step is to place the new flyscreen back into your frame and use screws with washers, for example stainless steel ones, in order to keep it tightly secured on the casing of your window or door.
